oh thank goodness for Will&Grace on Lifetime.
Definition: staying away from males, in a romantic/emotionally involved sense, in an attempt to keep from getting hurt and making poor, poor life decisions.
It’s serious this time; mostly because the last few times I’ve tried to re-engage it’s backfired. I could slap “George O’Malley” across the face, much like I did his friend. I’m not sorry.
Here. I’ve been carrying this thing around for months. I don’t want it anymore.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
My sentiments exactly.
to Maryland. This time it’s for Alicia’s birthday, which will be a crazy night indeed. Honestly, I am secretly hoping (praying, really) for snow because I want nothing more than for a day where I can completely veg out and watch crappy (read: awesome) Lifetime movies - if there are actually any GOOD ones on. So let’s go, Mother Nature, bring on the snow!
The yellowed page of the books and books I’d forgotten that I had
These paperbacks they know their age they smell of weight and time that’s resting warm
The opened box beside the endless box parade that haunts my house
Is fit to split with photographs that tell the wanderlust of years smashed on to years
When all this actual life played out
Where the hell on Earth was I?
I rack my brains but it won’t come
Through water damaged bloodshot eyes
The fleeting triumphs, brazen lies
All seem to mingle into one
I read your name under words in your elegant hand you probably don’t mean now
I fold the letter and think of a million and one things that I could have done different
When all this actual life played out
Where the hell on Earth was I?
I rack my brains but it won’t come
Through water damaged bloodshot eyes
The fleeting triumphs, brazen lies
All seem to mingle into one
One gigantic fairy tale
Of friends I haven’t seen in years
Drinking ‘til the daylight hurts
You seem friendly who are you?
That’s a lot of wine that we got through
We’ve made playtime look like work
Please just take these photos from my hands.
the new happy hour.
I haven’t had coffee since Monday morning. I miss the hot, sweet, bittery goodness.
this is a joke. it has to be.
what’s wrong?
oh you know, just reslife making absurd decisions again.
Oh Reslife. They pretty much embody absurd. What happened this time?
For one, someone got hired that shouldn’t have been hired, and the whole staff from last year is up in arms about it.
Not cool Res Life. Not cool. (shakes head in disappointment) I got a text this morning about it. Anger and disappointment are pretty much my only emotions about it. lol.
2 years ladies, story of my life. the drama never really changes.
