When David Goldman dropped his wife and son at Newark Airport 5 1/2 years ago, he expected to see them in 2 weeks.  After she arrived in Brazil, David’s wife (Sean’s mom) called him to tell him she’s divorcing him and not coming home.  She died last year, and her new husband and his well-connected Brazilian family are violating international law by not allowing Sean to return home to the US.  David hasn’t stopped fighting for his son.  He’s seen Sean twice in 5 years: February and June of this year.  After the Brazilian Supreme Court ordered Sean be returned to David, the stepfather put another appeal into motion.  David has to stay in Brazil until the Court returns from recess Feb 1, and only then will they hear the case again.
